  3.                           Infconvert PM
  4. ====================================================

  6. Infconvert PM converts OS/2 inf and hlp files to plain text files. Inf and hlp 
  7. files can be searched for text and opened to view.
  8.  
  9. Getting Started.
  10.  
  11. 1) Ensure you have Vrobj.dll version 1.01 (patch level 'b' or later) somewhere 
  12.    on the LIBPATH.
  13. 2) Delete ALL OLD VERSIONS of INFCON.INI.
  14. 3) Remove any old versions of Infccona.exe and Infcon.exe
  15. 4) Put the files Infcon.exe and Infconna.exe in the same directory.
  16. 5) At an OS/2 command prompt, from the directory the files are in, type 'Infcon'
  17. 6) Alternately, Infconvert can be set up as an object on the desktop, using 
  18.    'Infcon.ico' set to 'Infcon.exe'.

  20. Infconvert PM is a PM program, the PM is necessary for it ot run.
  21. Infconvert PM is partly a VXRexx program, Rexx needs to be installed on the
  22. system.

  24. Before converting any files, ensure the output directory can be written to.
